Sounds of Saving (SoS) is a 501(c)3 non-profit mental health organization and media brand. Their work is dedicated to helping fans and artists find hope, connection and relatable stories through music and to providing psychoeducation and direct paths to affordable and culturally competent care and wellness resources.
The SoS mission is accomplished through unique video content and live experiences and events, which provide awareness, connection and a sense of hopefulness during crisis – with a special focus on youth and marginalized communities. SoS partners with The 988 Suicide & Crisis Lifeline and has worked alongside MusicCares and The American Association of Suicidology. Their collaboration spans genres -from Sharon Van Etten, keiyaA, Indigo Sparke, Allison Russell, G Herbo, CHAI, Madison McFerrin to Benee & Bartees Strange and has drawn attention from Rolling Stone, Pitchfork, AV Club, Uproxx, NME, Spin and others. During the summer of 2022, SoS was the mental health partner of the “Here and There” festival, a 15-city tour curated by Courtney Barnett.
General donations to SoS support the entire mission of bringing mental health-centered storytelling, awareness, resources and pathways to care to music fans and artists.
