Telescreens

New York City band Telescreens have signed with +1 Records and released their first bit of music for the label, “Nothing.” The single arrives backed by two B-sides, “Gimme All You Got” and “Alcoholism,” expanding the band’s world of cathartic rock anthems, unfiltered emotion, and lyrical honesty.

The 3 tracks mark the first taste of new music since Telescreens 2024 album 7. Sonically, “Nothing” channels the raw power of classic rock through a distinctly modern lens  – heavy guitar anthems and soaring, revelation-like choruses meet the kind of emotional pull that defines great rock ballads. The single captures the band’s knack for balancing nostalgia and innovation, merging walls of sound with intricate melodic detail.

Known for their gritty, high-voltage performances, Telescreens turn every stage into a full-body experience. Their shows have become crowd favorites, packed with sweat, movement, and the kind of unrestrained dancing that breaks down the barrier between band and audience. The band have headlined NYC’s Webster Hall and Bowery Ballroom and played the main stage at Governors Ball 2024. Fans can expect that same chaotic energy as they hit the road for a Fall tour of North America kicking off October 30 in Detroit, MI.  The run features headline dates as well as shows supporting Sir Chloe and will make stops in Chicago, San Francisco, and Los Angeles before concluding in Montreal, QC on November 25.  Tickets are on-sale now here and all shows are listed below.

Since forming in Manhattan and Brooklyn, Telescreens has developed a sound that bridges decades – a meeting of old-school rock attitude and forward-looking production. Their debut album The Return (2020) introduced a cinematic, story-driven vision; 7 (2024) added heaviness and immediacy, and included “Phone Booth,” their standout single from the album,  “Nothing” now points toward what’s next: a band pushing their creative limits while staying true to the pulse of rock and roll.

Telescreens is Jackson Hamm (vocals/guitar), Austin Brenner (bass), Josiah Valerius (keys/synth), and Oliver Graf (drums).
