Born on May 12, 2000, in Osaka, Japan, Ayumu Imazu’s artistic journey began at the age of 6 with dance. By 14, he ventured to New York for an intensive artist residency, marking the start of a bold international career. With roots in both Japan and the United States, Imazu has mastered the art of blending cultures, creating a unique global presence.Not only is he a captivating performer with electrifying dance moves, but he’s also a skilled songwriter, composer, and choreographer. On July 5, 2024, his single “Where Do We Go!” was featured as the commercial song for the Pocari Sweat Hong Kong 2024 and “Superstar,” released on August 2, quickly became a hit with its high-energy dance beats, sparking a wave of TikTok dance posts and gaining significant attention. His single “Obsessed” took home Best Project at the 66th Japan Record Awards that year and surpassed 100M global streams and counting. Ayumu will have new music on the way in the coming weeks.
