Growing up, Castleman’s parents made a lasting impression on her musical style and influence – they were both musicians – and exposed her to the likes of Fleetwood Mac, The Beatles, Bonnie Raitt and Brian Wilson. When her mother and father divorced at age 11, Cecilia found solace in songwriting which resulted in her beautiful debut record that is equal parts vulnerable, heartfelt and exploratory – an elegant and alluring journey into self discovery.
